-브라질리아지부 ‘어머니의 날’ 행사

지난 5월 12일, 브라질 브라질리아지부는 브라질리아의 공립학교에서 ‘어머니의 날’ 행사를 개최했다.

74명이 참석한 이번 행사에서는 가장 나이가 많은 ‘고령의 어머니들’과 아이들을 많이 낳은 ‘다자녀 어머니들’에게 시상의 시간도 있었다. 또한 활발한 사회 활동을 하고 있는 어머니들에게는 감사와 격려를 전했다.

개회식은 가정 교회 에드슨씨의 개회기도로 시작되었으며, 멕시코-브라질 부영사이며 심리학자인 마리아 이사벨 (Mrs. Maria Izabel)씨는 ‘21세기 여성의 역할’에 대한 강연이 있었다.

-쌍파울로지부 ‘어머니의 날 행사’

지난 5월 13일, 브라질 쌍파울로지부는 남을 위해 살아가는 어머니들의 노고를 치하하기 위한 ‘어머니의 날 행사’가 38명의 게스트와 350명의 회원들이 참석한 가운한 가운데 열렸다.

이날 프레젠테이션을 통해 한학자 총재님과 세계적인 활동을 펼치고 있는 여성연합에 대한 비디오 시청이 있었으며, ‘어머니의 날’을 기념하여 ‘위하는 삶’을 살았던 8명의 어머니들에 대한 시상이 있었다.

프레젠테이션을 통해 수상한 8명의 어머니들의 사회활동에 대하며 소개하는 시간도 가졌다. 수상자들에게 기념패와 아름다운 꽃바구니를 선물로 전달하였으며, 모든 참석자들에게도 기념품을 전달하였다.

Latin America - Brazil Brasilia  ‘Mother's Day event’

Last May 12, WFWP Brazil Chapter organized event 'Mother's Day' for the purpose of spreading and acquiring new association. In this event attended 74 people at the public school at the capital city of Brazil.

A second event held in Brasilia, capital of Brazil, was Mother’s Day, where elder mothers and those with the most children were specially honored. We also honored two mothers who are active in social work.

We invited Mr. D. Edson of the Family Church to render the opening prayer. Mrs. Maria Izabel, a psychologist and Vice-Consul of Brazil in Mexico, expounded on the role of women in the 21stcentury.

Latin America - Brazil  Sao Paulo Mother's Day event

On May 13 the WFWP-Brazil chapter held a Mother's Day event in the Sao Paulo FFWPU Center.

This event was organized in order to encourage the members to participate in social work activities and, especially, to honor the mothers who are living for the sake of others.

350 members and 38 guests participated in the event.

The WFWP-Brazil Sao Paulo chapter honored eight mothers who live for the sake of others in celebration of Mother's Day, on May 13, in the FFWPU center.

The first mother honored was the great Mother of Heaven, Earth and Humanity, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, who was honored through a Powerpoint presentation. Then, a video presentation about the activities of the WFWP around the world was shown to members and guests.

Each of the mothers honored had an opportunity to showcase their work in society through a Powerpoint presentation. The eight honorees then received a special plaque and a beautiful basket of flowers. At the end of this event, all of the mothers present received a memento of this day.
