이스라엘지부는 UN '2012 세계 가정의 날'을 기념하여 교육, 사회, 정치, NGO와 다양한 분야의 여성지도자 30여명이 참석한 가운데 들이 올리브 과수원이 아름다운 Daliat El Carmel의 Druze 마을에서 열렸다.

쉐이크 알리 나임 비라니씨는 모임 주최자는 환영사에서 ‘가정은 사회를 이루는 구성 요소이며 우선적으로 가정의 가치에 대하여 가르쳐야 한다’고 강조했다.

전 이스라엘 여성연합 회장인 로사 쉬무엘리의 사회로 시작된 행사는 귀빈을 소개한 후 누릿 스쿠핀스키(이스라엘 여성연합)회장을 기조연설자로 단위에 모셨다. 누릿 회장은 프레젠테이션을 이용하여 ‘가정의 핵심 가치, 가정과 사회에 갈등을 해결하고 평화로운 환경을 만들기 위해서 남을 위해 사는 것이 가정 좋은 연습’이라고 강조했다.

휴식시간 후에 맛있는 점심시간과 함께 이날의 행사에 대한 소개의 시간도 가졌다.

참석자들은 이 같은 모임에 동참하는 것이 그들의 꿈이었다고 소감을 전했고, 자신의 기관을 연결시키고 가정의 가치를 홍보할 수 있도록 전문지식을 제공하겠다는 의견을 전하기도 했다.

제레미 죠단 사무총장(이스라엘 UPF)은 2012년의 주제인 에 대한 핵심 사항에 대하여 강연을 하였으며 ‘가정에서 하나된 남편과 아내는 엄청난 참사랑의 힘을 촉발시킬 수 있다’며 그 중요성을 강조했다.

이날 프로그램의 중요사항으로는 특별 공헌을 한 주최자인 쉐이크 버라니씨가 PWPA의 회장인 엘리제어 글라우바쉬 교수로 부터 독특한 예루살렘의 조각상을 특별 선물로 받았다.

International Family Day 2012, Israel

Honoring the UN's 2012 International Family Day, some 30 community leaders, gathered in the Druze village of Daliat El Carmel. The village is located on the magnificent Mount Carmel amongst lush green olive orchards.

In presence were prominent women leaders from various fields such as Education, Social Work, Politics, NGO's and the Academia. Most of the women have chosen to participate in this meeting, inspite of it being taking place on a Saturday - a traditional family day.

Sheik Ali Naim Birani, our host, offered welcoming remarks in which he stressed that the family is the building block of society and thus it must be our top priority to teach family values.

The former WFWP, Israel president, Mrs. Rosa Shmueli served graciously as the MC. After she had introduced some of the dignitaries, she called to the stage Dr. Nurit Skupinski, the current president of WFWP, Israel, to deliver the keynote address. Nurit used a PPT presentation to touch upon core family values. She has eloquently pointed out that living for the sake of others is the golden rule to be practiced by the individual, family and society in order to resolve conflicts and create a peaceful environment.

After a brake with a delicious lunch served, a round of introductory speeches was given by all participants. It was heartwarming to hear from quite a few participants, that it was their life dream to join such gathering. Many also expressed their desire to link their own organizations and offer their expertise to promote true family values.

Mr. Jeremy Jordan . Secretary General UPF, Israel opened the second part of the program elaborating on the wide meaning of this UN designated day. He went through the key points of 2012 Theme: "Ensuring work family balance". Mr. Jordan went on and high lightened the winning team of a united husband and wife in the family, unleashing the immense power of True Love.

The third high point of the program was a special tribute to our host Sheik Birani. He was presented with a unique silver statue of Jerusalem by Prof. Eliezer Glaubach, president of PWPA, Israel and his wife Rachel Glaubach a prominent member of WFWP, Israel, both senior ambassadors of Peace.
