케냐지부는 2011년 4월23일 제19주년 창립 기념행사를 가졌다.

기념식에는 국방장관 보좌관 배우자인 혼 헬렌 엔카이써리 부인을 포함하여, 브라마 쿠마리스 세계영성대학교, 여러 여성단체들과 나이로비 지역 120 여명의 여성들이 참석을 하였다.

이날 주제 강연을 한 초청강사인 혼 엔카이써리씨는 케냐 여성연합과 좀 더 긴밀하게 협력하여 특히 여성과 교육 분야의 일을 함께 하고 싶다는 의사를 전달하기도 했다.

이어 다른 인종, 국적, 종족, 종교, 문화를 가진 여성들이 함께 국가와 세계의 평화와 화합을 증진 하는 한 자매로써의 자매결연식을 가졌다.

WFWP Kenya

On 23 April 2011,WFWP Kenya celebrated the 19th Anniversary of its founding.

The celebration was well attended by 120 women leaders around Nairobi, and the guest of honor was a lady VIP, Mrs. Hon. Helen Nkaissery, spouse of the Kenya Assistant Minister of Defense. The organizations represented includes the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University and other women groups.

Mrs. Nkaissery gave the main speech; she expressed her desire to work closely with the WFWP Kenya chapter and especially with the issues of girl-child education. The program included a Bridge of Peace Sisterhood Ceremony where women from different races, nationalities, tribes, religions and cultures are matched together as sisters to promote peace and harmony in our nation and world.
