프랑스지부는 영국 여성연합과 카프가 함께 준비한 ‘여성의 미래’에 대한 워크샵에 두 차례 참석한 후 파트리브리짓 와다 회장(WFWP 프랑스 지부)과 함께 영국에서 열린 워크샵과 동일한 슬로건을 걸고 프랑스에서도 주말 프로그램으로 진행하였다.

이 워크샵은 5월 19일~20일 일정으로 18세 이상인 젊은 회원들 총14명이 모여서 자신들의 경험과 깊은 내면까지도 서로 공유하며 나눌 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었다.

초나이 안씨의 사회로 시작된 워크숍은 주요 기획자들과 프로그램 그리고 워크샵의 토의 주제에 대한 설명, 그리고 이어서 각자 워크샵에 참가하는 기대, 자기소개의 시간을 가졌다.

워크숍은 두 가지 토의 주제로 진행되었는데 첫번째 주제는 ‘프랑스에 거주하는 외국인여성으로서 공적인 삶, 개인적인 삶, 전문성을 키우는 삶에 대한 발란스를 맞춰가는 방법’이었으며, 두 번째 주제는 ‘결혼생활을 위한 준비’ 였다.

짧은 시간 동안이었지만 참가자들이 모두 대화를 나눌 수 있는 시간을 통해 서로 깊은 내면의 이야기를 들을 수 있었다. 하루일정을 마무리 하는 메시지 순서는 지원하는 모든 참가들이 함께 만들기도 했다. 

일요일 아침에는 브리짓 와다씨가 두개의 쎄션에서 논의 되었던 내용중에 핵심내용을 담아 여성의 가치와 자질에 대한 내용을 파워포인트로 준비하여 강의를 했습니다.

프랑스지부에서 처음으로 열린 이번 워크샵이 일회성이 아닌 지속적으로 진행되어지기를 참석자들은 바란다는 의견을 제시했다. 또한 다양한 연령대의 여성들이 모여 어머니로서, 또한 아내로서의 역할에 대해서 심도 있는 공유가 있었고 서로 알게 된 좋은 기회였다.

Women of Tomorrow – France

Monique Raulot, a French second generation sister participated two times in the “Women of tomorrow’s workshop in the UK which was organised through the cooperation of Women’s federation and Carp. She was inspired by this project and together with Patricia Vieira and Brigitte Wada, director of the WFWP in France decided to organise a week-end program under the same slogan.

This workshop was an opportunity for 2nd generation sisters above the age of 18 to come together, share and know each other more deeply.

The workshop was attended by 5 first generation mothers who came to animate some sessions and share about their experiences and by 14 young second generations, included 5 mothers with their small children.

At the very start of the workshop the MC, Chonai Aune introduced the key organisers, the program and the discussion topic of the workshop. She invited each of the participants to introduce themselves with theirs names, where they come from, their actual occupation and their expectations of this workshop. 

Two Topics was presented:  the first one was about “how to balance public life, professional life and private life and integration of the foreign sisters in France”. This session was animated by Jennifer Lambert, Evi Dumas and Tirzi Martin, 3 foreign mothers who share about their integration in the French society and culture.

The second topic was about preparation for a married life animated by Diane Chaillé and Marie Christine Odent, a family and marriage counsellor.

In the evening a Speed Dating was organised to help participants to know each other more deeply. To conclude the day a massage session was proposed for those who wanted.

On Sunday morning, Brigitte Wada gave a lecture with PowerPoint about the value of woman and her qualities following by a report about the important points discussed during the two sessions.

This workshop was the first organised in France and we hope not the last. It gave the opportunity for all generation’s women to come together, to connect and share deeply about their role as a woman, wife and mothers.
