남미 우루과이지부는 ‘21세기 여성의 역할’이라는 주제로 지난 3월 26일에 150여명이 참석한 가운데 Radisson Montevideo Victory Plaza 호텔에서 을 기념하는 패널 회의가 개최되었다.

이 회의는 올해로 3년째 지속되고 있는 행사로, 각계각층의 여성 지도자들을 초대하여 실시하고 있다.

각계의 대표자는 각자 활동하는 분야에서 바라보는 여성의 문제와 역할에 대해 발표를 하였다. 흑인여성에 대한 문제, 남미 여성들의 인권과 사회보장문제, 정치적인 면에서의 여성 의 역할과 당면 문제, 여성의 건강과 질병, 그리고 마지막으로 여성연합의 활동방향성인 이상가정을 이루기 위한 여성의 역할에 대하여 발표하면서 마무리를 지었다.

참가자는 작년 보다 더 많았으며, 특별히 이번 행사는 UPF본부의 지원으로 각 지방에서도 참가할 수 있었다.

이번 행사를 통하여 총재님 창립 정신을 참가자들에게 전달하면서 사회 각계각층의 저명한 인사들과 인연 맺게 되었으며, 또한 우루과이 여성연합의 회원들이 단합하는 계기도 되었다.

Held the Panel discussion commemorate of the international woman’s day

Under theme of ‘Role of woman in the 21C’ discussion held in order to the memory of the international woman’s day at March. 26 gathering 150 participants in Radisson Montevideo Victory Plaza Hotel.

This event has continued every year. It was the third times.. We asked to women leaders from all walks of life.  Representatives from all walks of life with her own issues about the role of women were presented. The problem with African women, Latin American human rights and social security problems of housewives, women's issues and the role political plane, the problem for women's health and cancer. Finally,  representative of WFWP announced about the purpose of WFWP and  the role of women to accomplish ideal family. (quoting  the word of True Parents )

Participants was higher than last year, especially in the event of the UPF head quarters for $ 500 support was given to participate in each province. Preparation of all events and events such as the social center of a peace ambassador and a member of the WFWP and they were pivotal.

Through these events  the Uruguay WFWP center members have more opportunity to unite, and now the word of True parents participants what they could deliver was greater than the harvest, Especially, this event was graced by the presence of Mr. Shinhyuk Yu ( the Son of Jeongok Yu who is national Messiah and Bunbongwang of Uruguay)
