지난 4월 15일, 모리셔스 여성연합의 후원으로 아이들과 청소년들의 건강을 체크하기 위한 ‘무료 의료검진’이 쿼트레 보네스 여성연합 홀에서(Mauritius, Quatre Bornes, the Mauritius Alliance of Women Hall)에서 진행되었다.

무료 의료검진 행사는 여성연합 회원이 PATH단체(긍정적 접근으로의 종합 건강) PATH(Positive Approach to Total Health)를 도와 실시하게 되었다.

의료검잔은 아쇽 칼리천 부회장(PATH, 상담가)의 PATH단체에 대한 설명이 있은 후 의료 봉사를 진행했다.

검진대상: 103명의 아이들 및 청소년

가능검진 항목: 치과진료, 당뇨병, 혈압, 스트레스 테스트

상담: 영양 관련

결과: 아이들의 85% 가 빈혈증세를 보였다

      많은 종류의 치과치료가 필요했다.

Africa - Mauritius chapter

WFWP Mauritius members assisted by PATH(Positive Approach to Total Health) medical team who is doing free medical screening for the medical check up for children at the Mauritius Alliance of Women Hall, Quatre Bornes, Mauritius at 8.30am.to 12.00 on April, 15, 2012.

The Medical Team of PATH (Positive Approach to Total Health) brought in all their posters, tables and medical equipment. PATH ambulance ‘St. Jean Clinic Ambulance’ was on site.

Posters on nutrition, human organs were displayed. Different kinds of spices exhibited for their health virtues. Consultant Ashok Kaleechurn, The V ice President of PATH was called on stage to talk about PATH.

He said that PATH was going around the 200 or so villages in Mauritius for Free Health screening.
