여성연합 미국 본부의 후원 아래, 지난 6월 24일부터 30일까지 아이티의 ‘오우아나민데’에서 올해로 6회째를 맞이한 ‘2013 아이티 여름 서비스 프로젝트’ 행사가 열렸다. 이 프로젝트는 여성연합 미국본부와 이동진료병원이 함께 아이티 내 성직자, 교육자, 청소년들을 대상으로 하여 인성, 건강, 가족, 원리, 여권신장 등에 대한 교육 세미나로 진행되었다.

22일부터 지역여성그룹과 최근 신설된 캔-아이티엔 지부 회원들을 만나 창설자인 한학자 총재의 비전과 평화활동에 대해 공유를 시작으로 24일 첫 날에는 청소년들의 인성교육 세미나가 있었으며, 이어 여성그룹을 대상으로 한 ‘여성의 역사: 새로운 시대, 새로운 마음가짐, 21세기 여성의 역할’이란 주제로 세미나를 가졌다.

또한 원리교육, 진료처방 및 건강 교육, 지역사회 방문 등의 일정이 진행되었으며 여성연합의 활동에 대한 소개가 있었다. 이번 프로젝트에는 일주일 동안 850명 여명이 참석하였다.

"2013 Haiti Summer Service Project"

The Sixth Annual Haiti Summer Service Project (HSSP), sponsored by the WFWP USA, took place in Ouanaminthe, Haiti from June 24-30. The program for this year's project consisted of a Mobile Medical Clinic and educational seminars about character, health, family, Divine Principle, empowering women for clergy, educators, men, women and children. Our official program started on the 24th, but from the 22nd we met with a small local women's group and a newly organized WFWP chapter in Cap Haitian. We shared the vision of our founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and peace activities. On June 24, wemet with youth to teach the character education curriculum, followed by a seminar on the topic of "Herstory: New Era, New Mindset, Women's Role in the 21st Century". Until the last day, we held seminars on various topics, the medical clinic and visited locals. Each time, we introduced WFWPI's activities and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon. More than 850 people participated and showed tremendous interest in the project.
