지난 3월 9일, 러시아 여성연합은 모스크바 ‘문화인 센트럴 하우스’에서 '세계 여성의 날‘을 기념하여 국제 가정들을 위한 축제인 ’Family World' 가족 콘테스트를 개최하였다. 파트너로 러시아 민족회(Assembly of Peoples of Russia), 다문화 프로그램 센터인 투게더(Together), 타타르 민족회(Union of Tatar people), 조지아 민족회(Union of Georgian people), 츄바시 문화협회(The Chuvash Association of Culture)가 함께 하였다. 이번 행사에는 다양한 국적의 200여명의 사람들이 함께 하였다.

대회에 참가한 가정들은 각자 독창적인 방식을 통해 자신들의 비전, 목표, 꿈을 공유하였으며, 장기자랑의 시간을 가졌다. 특히 이번 대회에는 ‘미스&미스터 유니버시티’ 참가 학생들이 함께 하여 가족의 가치에 대한 주제발표와 공연을 준비하여 의미 깊은 시간을 가졌다.

올 해로 2회째를 맞이하는 가족 콘테스트가 참가정의 가치와 다른 민족에 대한 이해를 도와주는 문화 프로그램이 되기를 바란다.

Northeast Continent-Russia Hosts the Second ‘Family World’ Contest

On March 9, WFWP-Russia held the ‘Family World’ Contest, which is a festival for international families, in commemoration of ‘International Women’s Day’, at the ‘Central House of Cultural Workers’ in Moscow, co-jointly with the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia, the ‘Together’ Center of Intercultural Programs, the Union of Tatar People, the Union of Georgian People, and the Chuvash Association of Culture. The event was attended by more than two hundred people of various nationalities.

The families taking part in the competition shared their visions, goals and dreams in their own original ways, and also took part in a talent show. In particular, the event was also attended by the students who had participated in the ‘Miss & Mister University’ contest, and it was a meaningful time for them, as they prepared speeches on the value of family as well as giving performances.

It is hoped that the Family Contest, which was held this year for the second time, will become a cultural program that will contribute to sharing the value of a true family and understanding other peoples.
